1. Dismantled Christmas tree. Oyen saw some little spiders tumbling up and down the branches. Soaped and washed it down to remove dusts, cobwebs and those annoying creatures.
2. Bought several clear plastic boxes to store Christmas ornaments. #easyorganizing #lessbreakage #preventlosses #lockinstorage
3. Despite strict orders not to cook fried chicken, Antonia continued serving fried chicken 3x a week.
4. Store adjusted the price of a watch brand because of the drop in Euro but refused to give the corresponding adjustment which should translate to an additional discount.
5. Looking for an alternative brand or model. The more I look, the more expensive the item that I get to like becomes. The more it becomes unattainable.
6. Gave up on my search for a new wristwatch. I don’t know for how long. Maybe for half a day. I have never been this fickle. First time it’s happening to me. The only way I would be able to take the plunge is to throw away my calculator and just do it (a la Nike).
7. I still have some P5,000 worth of Rustan’s gift certificates. I would like to bring my mother to Rustan’s for shopping. I’d like to make her choose whatever she wants with my GC. Unfortunately, she’s no longer around (+).
8. Edmund received P10,000 worth of gift certificates last month and he gave them to me. I used the P2,500 yesterday in SM Department store to pay for the plastic box organizers.
9. My son came home last night hungry. He ate several slices of tikoy.
10. Have stopped taking Tamiflu but continues with Tuseran Forte. Recovered but still feeling occasional muscle aches and headache.
11. Generally in much better mood but still feeling intermittent melancholy.
12. Arrived home yesterday afternoon at 5:30. Seeing the sky was still bright and feeling the pleasant breeze, I was suddenly gripped with guilt. I missed my kids when they were young. I should have come home earlier to walk them outside when they were still little. Even if I come home earlier now, it’s useless, they’re no longer home this early and would not walk with me outside.
13. My sister is going to spend her birthday in Las Vegas. I want to go to LV again, to watch some nice concert or a comedy act. I’d like to walk around, up and down the Strip. Years ago, maybe 20, I fell in love with a gold Rolex president with diamonds and blue sapphire displayed at the watch store on the ground floor of Bellagio Hotel. Everyday, I would go there and stare at it. I couldn’t afford it. The sales lady was a Filipina. Small world talaga.
