Dance Exercise is the best

I don’t have any exercise. The only physical movements I make on a daily basis is the walk around our house, from our bedroom to the bathroom, to the kitchen to the study room, up and down the stairs, getting on and off the car, plus the walk from the parking to my office and back.
Aside from that, wala na.

Enroll in a fitness club or gym—- Wala ito, useless lang. I would not be able to attend the sessions.

Ballroom dancing—— wala rin ito. I tried this before, I only went for half hour.

Walking around the subdivision —– Am afraid of dogs, they too go walking.

In house gym—— I bought a stationary bicycle and a thread mill. Wala rin, Kinalawang na yung bike at thread mill.

Bowling—– I like this but who’s going to accompany me?

Dance Exercise —- yes, I will try this. How?

Zumba—– hmmm, I don’t see myself attending classes like yoga, aerobics and zumba.

I contacted a dance instructor from Binangonan who teaches Zumba three times a week to 50-80 men and women. I asked him to come to our house for one hour each week. Not for zumba but for dance exercise. Naisip ko lang, this would be a good start to prime my body for some physical activity.

Last monday, I came home much earlier to have an exercise.
The dance instructor traveled for two hours to reach our village. We picked him up from the gate.

And dance we did…

let’s do the moves.

Bukas ulit, monday 4 -5 pm it’s a date.

  1. Ms. A. do some warm up stretching before Zumba. I hope aling Antonia does warm up to prevent muscle injury. You may buy DVDs of Zumba, I suggest the very first one, mga 30 minutes yun, at talagang pagpapawisan kayo. It’s nice playing it with a big screen. Also you need the right outfit and rubber shoes to really appreciate the exercise.

  2. This is really fun. I attended dance classes few years back, I lost weight and dun lang ako nabuntis. Sabi ng OB i lost weight kasi kaya ko finally nabuntis. Ayun, awa ng dyos 2 yrs old na anak ko, I haven’t been back to class. HAHAHA!!

  3. I love dancing, I usually watch and follow Youtube of Zumba classes at least 30 min a day. I started last October along with less sweets, less fastfood. From 138 lbs to 121 lbs! Zumba doesn’t feel like exercise, enjoy sya. Hope you get inspired to dance everyday and be sexier pa.

  4. Miss Annie,

Try buying a Wii or Xbox 360 na pwede ka sumasayaw sayaw or play sports. My dad bought me a Wii kaso nga lang, wala akong time. It’s a good way to bond with your family. Kasi you compete with them and you don’t notice that you’re burning calories. Hehe.
