We were not paying attention, before I knew it, we were at the NAIA I building, the old Manila International Airport. Buti na lang traffic was not so bad.
Flight’s not full according to the ground crew.
A—————“Miss, how long is the flight?”
PAL crew——“Sixteen hours”.
A—————“Ang tagal naman, para na akong pumunta sa New York”.
PAL crew——“Gawa sa time difference”.
When we reached the PAL lounge, I asked the receptionist the same question
“Miss gaano katagal yung flight?”
PAL receptionist—— “Eleven hours”.
A———“Eleven? Ang tagal naman, para na akong pumunta sa San Francisco”.
We spent the next one and a half hours pigging out in the PAL lounge. Nag lunch naman kami sa bahay pagdating dito para kaming gutom na naman.
PAL renovated their Mabuhay Lounge. Of course it’s now a lot better.
I was trying not to touch the food because medyo busog pa ako but my children kept on going to the buffet tables. Nakigaya na na rin ako.

Their lugaw toppings t used to be spring onions and garlic, then after a few years PAL added itlog na maalat, then pork strips, then meron ng dilis.
We were being called to board already and still, tinikman pa ng anak ko yung chorilog or chorizo at itlog. He got curious because of the name.
