We stopped along the coastline of Waimea Bay in Oahu’s North Shore to look at the crazy waves . This place is popular for it’s high waves which could go as high as 50 ft. during winter months.
The best surfers in the world come here to challenge themselves and outsmart the waves. Surfing tournaments are frequently held here.
Summer waves are smaller and gentler.

The waves here are crazy. Edmund insisted on taking photos, ako naman natatakot. I might not notice the waves coming, I could be swept away. I would drown in five seconds. Look at how high the waves are. Let’s leave this water to the pros.
