The Courtyard at Pacific Residences

I was recently invited to the grand launching of Crown Asia’s newest project called the Courtyard  at Pacific Residences. It was held at the Blue Leaf in McKinley Hill where Edmund and I celebrated our silver wedding anniversary. 

I’ve attended two similar realty development project launches in the past, not as a social media / blogger /partner/  but as a potential buyer or investor.  I was invited by the country’s premier host, Johnny Litton, one at the Shangri-la Hotel and the other one was at their high-end single homes that are Italian-inspired called Ponticelli in Daang Hari, Cavite.

I didn’t mind traveling to the south in the middle of work week.    It was a good ride and it was also like a fun field trip.  It was my very first time to see that developing area.

The model homes in Brittany were impressive.  The houses were steep with curb appeal and the interiors were tastefully done  by sisters Ivy and Cynthia Almario.   I even fell in love with the hand-painting on the master bedroom’s wall. Ang ganda.   The following week, I contacted the office of Almario and inquired about that gorgeous hand-painting. To have the walls painted like that could cost a fortune.

Crown Asia has a new development called The Courtyard. It includes upscale single detached homes, townhouses and mid-rise condominiums up to 9 stories high with five star amenities such as fitness center, multi-purpose function hall, bi-level clubhouse, children’s playground, adult and kiddie pools. I think developers should also include senior citizen recreation hall.

The Courtyard is situated along Pedro Cayetano Blvd. in Taguig which connects C5 and C6 (Rizal towns). I wonder how’s he related to Senator Allan Peter Cayetano. Baka lolo? Sayang, I had an impromptu merienda with the good senator, his brother Ren and a common friend yesterday afternoon, I forgot to ask him. I’ll ask next time I bump into him again.

That part of Taguig and Sucat is getting to be another growth area as far as real estate developments are concerned.    New commercial establishments such as  Coffee Bean, Gilligan’s, David Salon, Pancake House, All Home, Uncle Cheffy, Burgoo, Yellow Cab, Hap Chan have sprouted.   There’s also a barbershop called GQ   ( #feelingmodel) and a massage spa, Nuat Thai. A new shopping mall called Starmall Prima, has recently opened.

It’s easy to buy condominiums and houses with all the sweet offers from developers including very attractive payment terms.  However, buying real estate is a serious obligation and investment.  So dear buyers, before signing that sales document, make sure your finances are in order, you know where to get the money and you are capable of sustaining the payments.
