Yen and I went to SM Aura for a mother-daughter night out. Napadpad kami sa Crate & Barrel.
They have very good quality housewares, accessories, furniture and furnishings. I like that they provide the details of most of the items including the name of the designer, origin of the item, where it was from or made. It saves me the trouble of asking “saan ito gawa? sa China ba?”
Oyen liked this bath tower. Her bathroom needs more shelves to accommodate her abubots pero sa dami ng gamit nya, she would need three of this bath tower. Might not even be enough.
In the US, Crate & Barrel was not my favored store although once in a while I would enter their store and browse at their stuff but no more than 5 minutes. Their items were a bit modern and structured and they would not go well with my current house style.
Pero ngayon I am beginning to like cleaner lines, simple and a bit updated.
When my tiny cottage house (bahay kubo) is finished I’ll buy a few items from Crate & Barrel. Magkano daw yung table from Italy? Including all the chairs tila more than P200k, eh yung sofa? P150K.
Eto na lang kutsarita.
There were no people shopping at their shop in SM Aura while Yen and I were there. Buti na lang the SM Group is the Philippine franchisee kundi how can they pay for the space rental if people are just admiring their nice stuff and are not buying?
