From SOPHIA , on handling stress
Your husband is right Ms. Annie. Kusa na lang lilipas ang mga stressful situations na yan. I concur with you though, that there are problems bigger than us minsan especially mga bagay na di mo pwedeng “balikan”, “palitan”, “isoli”, di mo pwedeng “idelete” ng basta na lang. These are types of concerns that would literally make you do a cartwheel, look for a punching bag, and in my case, a hairdo change! And yes, these pestering issues would sometimes creep in the middle of night that makes you “ugly-looking” the following day. But ,hey, I guess it’s part of life! I think of it as peklat na di maalis, parang part of life. You just have to live with it, and when I’m in my ultra positive mood, I’d say “bring it on”, it makes life exciting! Kidding aside, whatever difficulty we’re going through, it SHOULD make us a better person, not bitter. I’ll give you a tip on what I do when I’m feeling really down and horrible: I reach out to people who are in need of anything in my own little way. Mas generous ako, weird but it keeps me maintain my sanity. It makes me thankful and appreciative of what I have kahit papano. Cheer up and take it easy!

My sentiments too Ms. A. I do get annoyed with people’s Facebook posts once in a while but the thing is, it’s their opinion – it’s their wall – who am I to say they’re wrong. I think the “Hide Post” option is more than enough.
From PAM, on the value of money
When money is aplenty, one tends to forget that, just like everything else, it has its end.. And when u start to realize that ur savings balance is diminishing too fast, it is kinda like a “wake up call” and that’s when u start spending WISELY.
There is always a certain THRILL when one sees that he has a big amount in the bank.. It gives him some kind of a high that with all the money he has in the bank, he can buy almost everything, and that there’s more to it where it came from.
REGRETS? It will come sooner than one thinks.. Only after he realizes that his bank balance is way BELOW the “safe limit” will he start to WONDER abt the WHAT IFs and the SHOULD HAVEs and COULD HAVEs if only HE SPENT HIS MONEY WISELY.
Thanks for sharing this wonderful insight about the power of money.. I will share this with my 3 grown-up kids so that they, too, will LEARN abt the VALUE of SPENDING MONEY WISELY.
From SOUTHERN JUANDERER, on life
Nice post po Ms. Annie. Sometimes talaga, you have to stop or slow down and think of whats really important. Appreciate what you have and not what you dont have. Masyado na kasing fast paced ang buhay ngayon (until you get stuck in traffic!) hehe..
Life’s so complicated nowadays.
Very humbling. And gaya ng sabi nyo, it keeps us grounded.
