It’s very frustrating when you are speaking and no one is listening.
Stopping in the middle of your sentence to wait for the other person to pay attention. Then, like a traffic light, you look to the left, and look to the right, when you thought it’s green light, you immediately resume your excitement to finish your story, then ops, you have to pause again because you don’t have an audience. You take a deep breath and wait for your chance to speak again. It would be a rewind the next morning, all over again. Evenings would just be the same.
Several options come to mind.
1. Accept that this is the in thing nowadays. So do the same thing. Then you are accused of doing the same thing. That sucks.
2. Condition your mind that this is not happening. Ignore and go into a denial mode. But that is so pathetic.
3. In desperation, you evaluate which is faster to secure, a) legal separation or b) cellphone ban?
So far it’s working.
Your selfie exemptions are funny. The one on the refrigerator door.. Parang isiningit lang. Para walang pumalag pag nagselfie si Ms. Annie. Hehe.. 🙂
That’s a good thing to do Ms. Annie. For me naman, whenever my husband is busy with his phone or tablet, hinahawakan ko ang face nya to make him look at me then he will listen (while looking at me haha) on what I am going to say.
Glad my hubby pay attention to me even if hes sleepy.
What you are doing is right OMB. Single pa po ako but I want my future husband to listen when I am talking.
