Family Dinner at Open Kitchen in Kapitolyo

Oyen was here at Open Kitchen in Kapitolyo last Saturday night. She liked it a lot so when we were deciding on where to have our family dinner after the Sunday mass, she was more than willing to go back to Open Kitchen to eat again although she said she was not hungry.

Open Kitchen restaurant in Kapitolyo

Kapitolyo is becoming a new place to go for those wanting to try new places. The restaurants here are smaller and not fancy than those in Makati. Pretty soon, there would be bigger and more sophisticated restaurants in this area, with the construction of another condo cluster cum commercial hub called Rockwell. Two other bigtime developers, DMCI and Filinvest are starting their own mini city down the road.

Our relatives who inherited a commercial building, apartment and a single detached house in the area must be jumping up and down from the sky rocketing prices of real estate in Kapitolyo. Their building is right in front of the future Rockwell.

Open Kitchen is a short drive from the Kapitolyo gate.
It’s a one floor bungalow-type edifice. Okay nga kasi homey.

I would like to go back to Open Kitchen. When I do, I will just order the tomato bisque that Oyen ordered, and the seasonal sorbet.
No more hamburger steak for me.
