1. The area between the Buda Castle and San Matthias has quaint little shops selling souvenir items, antiques and brand-new porcelain.
They are on the ground floor of century old buildings.
The buildings are lovely, some with flowers on the window sill.
2. I bought several plates from this store last April. They sell products that are made in Hungary. The sales lady is aware that customers look for Hungarian-made products.
3. I’ve seen that painting with a pitcher and flowers last April. It’s still here. Baka iniintay ako. Nope, mahirap yan iuwi.
4. There’s a small sign along the street and an arrow pointing at this quaint little courtyard. The store is as small as my bathroom.
5. This store sells religious items including images of Mother of Perpetual Help. I feel at home in Budapest, is it because they are also Catholics?
6. One of the things I would like to do before Christmas is to buy two pieces of oak barrels. I will put flowers on top. Cute siguro.
7. Handpainted ceramic bells made in Hungary.
8. I bought four of these porcelain plates. Parang hindi gaanong maganda ang design. Pampabigat sa maleta.
9. Every souvenir shop in Hungary sells dolls wearing traditional Hungarian costumes. I don’t collect dolls that’s why I don’t buy. Maalikabukan lang. Kailangan dito merong aparador.
10. Matryoshka Dolls, also called nesting dolls, are Russian legacy to the people of Hungary. Inside are smaller wooden dolls in decreasing sizes that fit into each other.
Hi Ms Annie.. 😉
The two oak barrels would look great in ur cottage 🙂 u can also put poinsettiia on top of the barrels kc all-year round naman ang poinsettia sa Tagaytay 😉 it would also make a good conversation piece 😉
The tea set is also cute.. It looks so dainty and parang masarap mag tea or coffee with biscuits and scones sa ganung kagandang tea set 😉
Take care and be safe always.. 😉
God bless u and te family always, Ms Annie.. 🙂
