From Sofitel to Intercon

Because we couldn’t fix our travel dates due to my getting sick, then Edmund getting busier, I was not able to book our hotels well in advance. I knew I wanted to stay again at the Sofitel because of it’s great location. That was my only choice but they could only give me 4 nights because of a big conference on the dates we would like to stay.

I was able to get a confirmation for our first 4 nights stay from October 31 to November 4. From November 4 to 8, I booked the hotel next door, Intercontinental Hotel.

Yes, it’s a little bit older, but the hotel makes us feel at home. It’s homey.

I booked thru booking.com. Sofitel didn’t charge my credit card upon booking. Only when we checked out.

Our bags were sad to leave.

We grabbed our bags and walked from Sofitel to Intercon. It was only around 30 strides.

E—–“Sabi ko na nga ba, kinukunan mo ako ng picture”.

I also booked thru booking.com. I got two rooms, one for me and Edmund, one for my sister and her daughter who were arriving the next day from San Francisco. Intercontinental Budapest charged my credit card for the whole amount upon booking. We gave our cards again for any additional charges like breakfasts.

This would be our honeymoon bed for 4 nights, November 4-8, 2015. May something exciting happen within that period at sayang naman ang laki nitong kama.

The view from Sofitel and this one from our Intercon window are basically the same.
Same view from the window

Our room at the Intercon has a slightly different angle. It has a fuller view of the Chains Bridge since we’re on a higher floor.
Magnificent view of Chains Bridge

The floating restaurant, Spoon, is right below us. It’s rated pala in Budapest.

  1. It’s nice to have siblings and family with u when u go on vacation.. It makes the trip more enjoyable and more memorable.. 😉

Life isn’t always about being surrounded by material things.. What makes it more worthwhile is when u make BEAUTIFUL MEMORIES with ur loved ones.. These memories are the last thing we will remember when it’s time for us to meet our Creator.. 🙂

These beautiful memories will be our last link to the kind of life we will leave behind… 🙂

As the old song goes… ” WE HAVE ONE LAST MEMORY.. OF A GIFT FROM U TO ME.. OUR FINAL CHAPTER IN THE BOOK OF LOVE… ”
