Gaining more confidence after learning how to take the Metro, we went back to West End Mall to buy an extra luggage for Edmund.
His luggage was full of bulky winter jackets so he needed another luggage for my stuff. He’s bringing home the things I shopped— table cloths, table cloths, and more table cloths.
Single trip (one way) tickets are 350 forint per person.
There are several stores on the lower ground floor selling luggage. We checked out the prices and the choices available then decided we would buy it last, after going around the West End Mall.
Edmund encouraged me to look at the female clothes shops. Tamad na tamad kasi akong pumasok sa stores kasi ang liliit naman ng bewang ng mga manikin. Very discouraging.
I bought this blue dress even if it’s XS kasi this is the last piece. They only have one of each kind. The sales lady must be the owner, she’s French and she said this dress is made in France. Binili ko agad kahit maliit for me, for my daughter. Bahala na. It’s so pretty pa naman.
I was too lazy to go up the escalator. Edmund was looking for some jacket so we split. I stayed on the same lower lever while he went up the escalator.
I went around just for the heck of it. Edmund would be back in an hour so I just walked around not hopeful to find a nice dress that would fit my bulges.
Kailangan dito may kasamang maumbok na pwet otherwise hindi babagay.
This is too warm for Philippine climate. Ma-attract kaya sa akin si mister pag nag-suot ako nito? Hmmm, mukhang malabo. Baka magka gas pain pa sya.
I tried on several clothes but ang sisikip. And too difficult to remove my jacket, my sweater, my thermal, my sando, tapos hindi rin naman bagay or kasya yung dress. So frustrating.
Tsamba, I saw Villa Moda, a fashion boutique selling all made in Italy dresses and accessories. And they do have sizes. I bought a nice dress for Oyen, and a black and white blouse for me.
This is Patricia, 19, she was born in Hungary. Her father is from Argentina who came to Hungary to study chess, met her Hungarian mom.
They got married and lived in Argentina where they had 3 kids.
Her mom missed Hungary so their family moved back to Hungary where two more kids were born.
Her mom died of heart ailment two years ago. Her father searched online for his Argentinian childhood sweetheart. They met again and fell in love (again). According to Patricia, his father is 67 and the woman is 65. They’re now married and dividing their time between Argentina and Budapest.
I was happy with my find and decided to look for a chair to wait for Edmund. My husband said we’ll meet at the fast food area on this floor. Meron daw Chinese food. Ayaw na ayaw natin sa sea invaders but we seek for their food.
E—–“bakit yan kinuha, merong Chinese dun?”
A—–“Hindi ko nakita. Okay na ‘to Thai”.
I was the only one who ate because Edmund had heavy buffet at the hotel. I didn’t.
We went back to the luggage store and bought one for 9,999 forint. Made in Italy daw but the name sounds like Chinese. Jingjangwa ba? Hindi ko mabasa.
I was reading your blog and my husband saw the picture with the thongs. He thought I was online shopping. (Wishful thinking. Hehe.) I’m the same way about luggage. My excess aren’t usually breakables so I can get away with a folding duffel. But, not for your plates.
