There were so much food being passed around at the APEC Wheels Party but some of my colleagues did not eat because they were not comfortable eating while standing up.
William Co and Serge Ortiz approached me while Rey Oben and I were in a huddle talking about respective car dealerships. They asked me to go with them to Omasake just behind the Blackbird restaurant in Ayala Triangle.
Omb—–“Ha? kakain pa kayo eh ang daming pagkain dito? Busog na ako”.
I promised to follow.
I followed after hour. My impression of this area is it’s for younger people and the restaurants are casual dining. Medyo nakabihis kami at si Serge pa eh naka pang ninong sa kasal yung barong nya.
I saw him walking towards his car to change into a less formal polo shirt.

Serge was the bangka (banca), meaning he was mostly the one telling stories. Kami taga-tawa at taga-pakinig. He, Ed Lacson, and Bobby are close friends of VP Binay. Syempre Binay sila.
