Army Navy in NLEX - Oh My Buhay

Army Navy in NLEX

November 30, 2015 Monday

We stopped at the Petron gas station in NLEX for more gas.
After we dropped Edmund off at Starbucks for his morning coffee, I told the driver to look for the Army Navy restaurant around corner. I left the house without eating.

Omb——— Umikot ka sa likod, hanapin natin yung Army Navy.
Driver D—- Mam, wala naman dito.
Omb——— Meron, nakita natin yung karatula. Pumasok ka dyan sa parking.
Omb——— Army Navy… ayun, ayun!
Driver D—- Yung Kenny Rogers?
Omb——— ARMY NAVY!

I fully agree, let’s keep our country clean. No only physically clean, but clean of bulok politikos.

Why term your pizza QUERIDA? Although it literally means dear, the Spanish word querida in colloquial term refers to paramour or mistress. Here in the Philippines, namana rin natin na ang tawag sa mga babaing sagigilid ay querida. When you say querida, that’s the first meaning that comes to mind. People, don’t buy this pizza please. Army Navy can call their pizza a million other words, why choose this? Wala naman kayong respeto. Para madaling mapansin? To amuse and amaze customers? Palitan nyo naman yan, querido na lang.

If you don’t want to change the name of your pizza, then change the name of your sausage to Querido sausage.

I asked one male customer who he would vote for. Ang bilis nyang sumagot. Mar – Robredo. He spoke in fluent English. Mar – Robredo, di ba English yun?
