People no longer talk about the other candidates. Duterte is the it guy. Ever since he announced his candidacy, people have switched their attention to Davao City’s pride, Rodrigo Duterte.

Because he was inundated with criticisms over his cursing, Duterte made a clarification.
My personal opinion? There’s absolutely no excuse for what he said. We all have the right to get mad when we are inconvenienced by whatever and whoever, but cursing Pope Francis was totally unacceptable. There’s absolutely no excuse for that. To begin with, Pope Francis was not the one responsible for blocking the major roads. Even if said in jest, it was not funny. He could have expressed his discontent by saying “putang-ina naman yang MMDA bakit kailangang isara itong mga kalye?”
I agree. There’s absolutely no excuse for what he said.
