8. Noodles to go for our merienda. Luk Yuen took almost an hour to prepare a platter of noodles. Ang sabi 15 minutes lang daw.
9. I forgot to buy several boxes for give-away. I was lazy to do my yearly pilgrimage to Ongpin where I usually do my Chinese New Year shopping, the thought of getting stuck in heavy traffic discouraged me. That’s why I didn’t have monkey decors.
10. I bought ice cream because my nephew’s little daughters would be coming over.
A——“Paki lagay sa freezer yung nasa loob ng dining. siguraduhin mo na freezer. Alam mo ba kung alin ang freezer? Di ba itinuro ko na sayo kanina, dalawang beses ka pa nagkamali”.
That morning, the two of us spent several minutes in front of the ref and freezer because she placed the salad inside the freezer. Ilang beses ko itinuro sa kanya which one is the ref and which one is the freezer.
Then immediately after, I gave her a test, to keep the bottle of gourmet tuyo in the ref. She placed it in the freezer. (She took up two-year IT course in college and worked in department stores in the past 8 years).
A——-“Paki lagay mo na agad para hindi matunaw. alam mo na kung alin yung freezer”?
Ana—–“Oho mam”.
After 15 minutes, I found the ice cream melting inside the ref.
