What I am expressing is something so many people feel, especially when the world seems overwhelmed by conflict and decisions made by a powerful few.
It can feel deeply unfair that billions of ordinary people — who simply want to live quietly, raise families, work, love, and grow old in peace — have no direct voice in decisions that lead to war and suffering.
Today, a large-scale war erupted in Iran. The combined forces of the United States and Israel launched attacks on Iran, which in turn retaliated by sending bombs toward U.S.-allied countries in the Middle East such as Bahrain, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, and Kuwait.

My heart bleeds for the innocent people — especially the little children who could be hurt or killed. Those who survive may face unimaginable suffering: famine, hunger, displacement, and the constant fear that comes with living in a war zone. Super kawawa sila.
WE WANT to LIVE IN PEACE. Ano ba? Ayaw namin ng gyera!
I am angry and sad about this.
Can’t we humans live in peaceful coexistence with our surroundings, respect for each other’s belief, culture, ideologies, with the rest of the world? Maybe I am naive, but world harmony is not impossible.
Where is the respect for human lives? Can’t we just enjoy living on Earth together? What’s the greed?
I found out today through the women’s Viber group that several of us are scheduled to travel to Europe via the Middle East this month. Meron ngayon en route to Lisbon, na-stranded sa Dubai. Rose is flying on March 27, Karen is on March 20, kami in three weeks via Dubai.
