Red Tulips @ Bowling Green Park - Oh My Buhay

Red Tulips @ Bowling Green Park

(Continuation of Late post, Federal Group incentive trip to NY, April)

From the 9/11 Memorial Museum, our group walked several blocks past Wall Street buildings, parks, two churches and a cemetery

A bed of red tulips provides a gorgeous contrast to the church on the backdrop.

We walked several blocks to see the Charging Bull, a bronze sculpture which was originally a guerilla art done by Artucco Di Modica that stands in Bowling Green Park. It weighs over three and a half tons and measures 18 feet long. It was conceptualized by the artist in celebration of the American’s can do spirit, specially in New York where people from all over the world come regardless of their origin or circumstances and overcome obstacles of living in America in order to become successful (tour info).
When we got there, not one of us wanted to selfie with the bull. May mga jetlag pa.

I don’t remember if he is calling or pretending for the camera.

Resting is better than walking several blocks especially when you just arrived after 24 hours of flying.
