Limang araw lang iiyak

During the President’s speech at the business forum in Beijing, he veered a little bit away from his favorite topic, Obama and the Americans, and touched on the drug menace wreaking havoc in our community.

Inquirer photo news,

I commend him for wanting to rid our country of this gigantic problem. However, we also need China’s full and sincere cooperation in stopping their exports of shabu and to stop all shabu labs in our country operated mainly by mainland Chinese according to the reports.

In his speech in front of the Filipino community at the Grand Hyatt ballroom, he said exactly the same things.

He also encouraged people to report to him government officials who are asking for money (graft and corruption).

The grief and agony cannot be measured by the number of days we see their families wailing and fainting.

When someone in the family died, those left behind just didn’t have a choice but to continue living no matter how grief-stricken and devastated they were.

Let’s feel for others. We can be strict but not ruthless. Let’s be more sensitive to others. Let’s have deep compassion and sincere concern for the welfare of our country and its people.
