When we boarded the bus from the restaurant, we each occupied the same seat. I was again seated beside the 80 year old Chinese fellow on the 3rd row. He told me “lumayo ka sa akin kasi mabaho ako”. He said he changed his underpants, etc. Yuck too much information. Sa lagay he didn’t wash? Excuse me I just had buffet!!
Our flight to Manila was at 2:55 am but the 7 hours allowance proved just right. We left the hotel at 6 pm right at the height of friday’s rush hour so it took away more than 2 hours of our precious time just to reach the restaurant. An hour in the buffet plus another hour going to the airport. The group of Bryan Chua, Jun Ortiz-Luis and George Barcelon only traveled for 35 minutes according to them since they left at past 10 pm, there were considerably less vehicles on the road. Lucky for them. Ako, merong bus lag.
Jun Ortiz was showing to me and George Barcelon the Pokemon ____. Nawala ang internet. Meron isang babae at lalaki na naglalabing-labing sa likod ng puno. Ngayon we have to be specific kung ano ang mga gender dahil it doesn’t mean naglalabing-labing eh opposite sexes.
Checked in and ready for boarding
Serge had some difficulty scanning his boarding pass. Naiwan namin sya. Bumalik kami to help him. I told him, yan ang mahirap pag merong kasamang probinsyano.
Finally after a little delay, we boarded at past 3 am. I have a new seatmate. I introduced myself and gave him my card. Dagdag sa itatapon nya.
He looked surprised when I asked ano name nya and what he does. He’s Nick Alcantara, he’s from Davao but is in Manila most of the time. He’s into energy. I said “that’s good”. He had his MBA at Santa Clara University in the Bay Area. Kwentuhan na kami. When I found out he’s a close friend of the president, I asked him if he could speak to him and suggest to refrain from saying offensive remarks that does not evoke positivity. He agreed with me when I told him, “hindi na sya cute, hindi na nakakatuwa”. According to him, the perfect emissary to the president is his mother, unfortunately, patay na daw.
We’re eating again. We just had seafood buffet. We ate again at the PAL lounge.
I couldn’t finish my food. I just tasted them.
Ice cream again. I just couldn’t say no to Haagen Daz
The ink from my pen spilled. But na lang it did not stain my bag, or else I would be crying, wahhhh!
Our plane landed at around 7:30 am. We’re home.
