1. I went to TJMaxx in Brentwood looking for some home decors.
I bought this throw pillow with my initial letter A. It’s made in India and not from President Duterte’s favorite country.
2. This Filipino couple could not agree on the candle’s scent for their home. Lahat ng piliin nung misis, ipapa amoy pa dun sa mister for his approval.
Misis—-“Eh ito”.
Mister—“Masang-sang naman ang amoy nyan”.
Misis—–“Ito, mabango”.
Mister—-“Masang-sang”.
Misis—–“O ito, amuyin mo”.
Mister—-“Masang-sang”.
Misis—–“Ano ba gusto mo??”
Mister—-“Ay puro masang-sang naman, wag yung masang-sang!”
Away na yan, sapakin mo na agad.
And why do you have to make him smell and approve the scent?
Just buy it. Make your life simpler. Avoid arguments.
3. I was looking for a small steel filing cabinet and it says on Walmart’s website that they do have one. On my way to the store, I saw a Popeye’s Louisiana Kitchen. It was 10:30 am. This could be my breakfast and lunch combined.
I just wanted chicken so I ordered two pieces and coleslaw.
I saw three small pieces. I went up to the counter and told the lady that I only ordered two pieces and I was given three. She said “because they’re small that’s why I gave you three”.
While I was eating, I saw her leave the counter. She went out to the parking lot. She got something from her car, a sleek looking Ford Mustang. Cool.
4. Love this dessert, tempura banana ice cream $6.99 + tax + tip.
5. I could hardly identify the hundreds of creative ice cream flavors now. Back in the day our lives were simpler. I just had to choose between tsokolate o ube. Pagpanahon ng langka, dagdag yung flavor na langka. Nahihirapan pa akong mag desisyon nyan. Ngayon, sobrang daming choices.

7. I was touched by this couple’s sweetness to each other. Naka holding hands pa while they lovingly talk to each other.
8. $5.49 Santa from Sears
9. I couldn’t help but miss my parents most especially my father every time I go to any Sears department store. They still have my father’s name on their list of loyal customers. Sana buhay pa ang papa at mama ko.
10. I am putting on weight from eating my new favorites, warm nachos with cheese and strawberry banana smoothie. I go to the mall in the afternoon just to sit there, relax, while I eat nachos. Malls here are quiet and not crowded. It’s a good place to have an hour of R&R.
