Talks are circulating in Manila that my son goes to the casino. Nagka-casino daw sa Resort World and Solaire. Natalo daw ng malaking pera.

Hindi po, my son doesn’t gamble. He doesn’t go to those places.

People will have their own opinion about what they hear and will most likely add his/her own version which makes the story more sensational but far from the truth.

My son and his friends lost a lot of money because they invested in businesses that were presented to them as too good to be true and all of them believed, most especially my son. Hindi kasi marunong makinig, Sinabi ng if it’s too good to be true, it’s not true. Hayan. Sya ang naipit.

Several boys borrowed money from him and from his friends and didn’t pay them back. He was targeted all along. He was made to believe that they were earning a lot from their businesses and encouraged my son to put in money. They got my son’s full trust and confidence. My son truly believed in them. My son was placed in a most difficult situation because in the grid, he was the most vulnerable, gullible and honest. People’s perception of who and what we are, worked to his disadvantage. People, knowingly and unknowingly exploited my son’s vulnerability.

We banned our son from communicating with these people because we wanted to protect him from being exploited all the more. He was soft and easily coaxed. My son lost all his money. Not from the casinos as what people are saying. Hindi sya nagka-casino. Hindi rin sya nagda-drugs. NALOKO ANG ANAK KO at nagpaloko.

Edmund and I have been dealing with this problem trying to find the best SOLUTION out of a very bad situation. This is why Edmund and I have aged by at least 25 years. Kunsumisyon.

These young adults thought it was that easy to earn money. We’ve been working hard for 40 years and we know from experience that every cent counts because in our case, money does not fall from the tree nor they flow from the faucet.
Money is the equivalent of honest to goodness dedication and hardwork.
