My friend Hasan mentioned to me that he recently had a business meeting at the First Street Cafe in downtown historic Benicia. He told me that it’s a nice place, the food is good and that I should go check it out. I asked him what he ordered. He said he didn’t eat anything, he just had tea.
I am easy to entice so here I am in Benicia
The cafe is very much part of this historic street.
Aside from the bar on the ground floor, First St. Cafe has a second floor with views of the water. They also have live music entertainment on specific dates.
Since we were going to dinner, we just ordered soup and salad combo.
Until now I am still craving for their ahi tuna salad with avocado. Yum. If I could only eat this every day, I would easily lose 10 pounds in a month’s time.
