Cheese Ravioli with mushrooms and chicken

My daughter likes pasta. Days before she arrived I already prepared the cheese ravioli. I also cooked the shredded chicken breasts, my mistake was that I used teriyaki sauce to coat the chicken meat which made it sweet.

Freshly made pasta tastes a lot better than ready made or frozen ones. The pasta is softer, not starchy and the color is a little translucent. This one’s frozen.

My daughter loves garlic so when I cook her food, I put an overdose of freshly chopped garlic.

The teriyaki sauce made the meat too sweet. I originally intended to cook chicken adobo, then shred the meat. I changed my mind when I saw the bottle of teriyaki sauce, para kasing masarap, yun pala sobrang tamis.

I am a sucker for basil. I love its smell and taste.

It does not taste great but it’s good enough. I added olive oil, salt and pepper and mixed it with the ravioli.
