We’re not joining any package tour in Edinburgh. Just three days of relaxed promenading. The only request of Elmer is to dine in a Michelin Star restaurant or in a highly rated one.
Prior reservations are required and since we just arrived today, it’s too soon for tonight’s dinner. We got a reservation in a one Michelin star but that is for tomorrow night.
Being a Friday and a big group at that, the only restaurant that has a table for seven people is DINE with Stuart Muir.
It’s a 10 minute walk from Apex Hotel.
Elmer de Leon and Edmund Yee, two very tall guys and both very good golfers.
Actually, it’s rock climbing, not walking.
Although it’s already 7:30 pm, the sky is still bright. We still are able to take a few bright photos.
Elmer is the proud dad of Bea de Leon, Ateneo de Manila University’s star volleyball player.

The Edinburgh Castle is the perfect backdrop for this five excited golfers,
Elmer, Edmund, Roger, Boy, and Rolly. They’ll be joining at the dinner by another very good golfer, Larry Patnongon, a 2-4 handicapper.
When Edmund saw some ladies that were so bihis na bihis he got worried kasi hindi raw sila nakabihis.
When I entered the restaurant, I noticed that it’s ambiance is a little formal although their dress code is smart casual.
The restaurant is so full of people. You know, Friday night. And it’s very noisy. People talking and chatting. The only table that’s been reserved for the group is this round table that’s in the middle of the dining hall which makes it even noisier.
Larry and wife Mariz are joining them. We are giving up our seats so the two could join the boys. Edmund feels bad and worried where we are going to eat.
I don’t mind giving up my spot for Mariz so she could be with her husband.
Actually I am more excited to go discover some quaint restaurant in the area.
After dinner photo. Edmund said the food was okay but it was very noisy in the restaurant. Friday night! It’s noisy everywhere. People are eating and drinking scotch whisky at the same time.
We walked back to the hotel but took a different route to avoid the steep descent.
