Cars, trucks, vans, mowing down on innocent people with every intention to kill and inflict serious harm is becoming more frequent in this day and age.
How many times did this happen just in the past few weeks? Times Square in New York, London (2x).
Casualty and injury could be minimized by the construction of permanent barriers made of strong mortars and cement that could withstand the impact of a wayward vehicle ramming down on the sidewalk to kill. Whether it’s an accident or an act of terror, pedestrians and establishments would be safer.
All countries must do this with urgency.
I agree Ms. A, barriers will not prevent terrorists but they can minimize the damage.
