Sunday Mass & Jokes

I wasn’t able to attend the Sunday Mass even once during my one month and three weeks stay in the US. I did go to church every now and then but never during a Holy Mass. I went to the adoration chapel quite frequently.

When we are not traveling, Edmund and I make it a point to attend the Sunday Mass or the Saturday anticipated mass. Pareho rin yon.

FR. BONG GUERRERO

The priest that night was Fr. Bong Guerrero. His style is mixing the scriptures with his jokes. Iba-iba ang style ng priest. Merong isa naman, he begins his Homily with a tragic news, si Aling Miswa may cancer, yung kalapit bahay nya namatay dahil sa cancer, etc. Fist sentence pa lang ng sermon nya, ninenerbyos na ako. Fr. Bong Guerrero naman makes us laugh.

ANG PANGARAP
Cesar: “Pare, pangarap kong kumita ng 500,000 pesos buwan-buwan katulad ni Daddy.”
Noel: “Wow!!! Ganyang kalaki ang kita ng Daddy mo buwan-buwan?”
Cesar: “Hindi! Iyan din ang pangarap niya.”

PLANTSA
dOK: “Anong nangyari sa mga tenga mo?”
Allan: “Nagpaplantsa kasi ako nang mag-ring ang telepono. aksidenteng na-pick-up ko yung plantsa.”
Dok: “Eh bakit dalawang tenga mo ang nasunog?”
Allan: “Tumawag pa kasi siya ulit.”

ETHICS
Teacher: “Ok class, what is ethics?”
Rey: “Ma’am! Ma!am!”
Teacher “Ok Rey, what is ethics?”
Rey “Ma’am, ethics are cousins of ducks.”

SCIENCE
Teacher: “Ok class our lesson for today is Science. What is Science?”
Jun: “Ma’am akoooo”.
Teacher: “Sige Jun, What is Science?”
Jun : “Science is our lesson for today!”
