Crab, Sago, Lechon, Roses

Up to the last minute I didn’t know what kind of food I should serve to the lawyers. I went to Farmers looking for fresh lobster but the vendors told me lobsters must be ordered in advance. I settled for king crabs instead.

I ordered one whole lechon and this kind of dictated that the rest of the dishes should be Filipino food.
I told Antonia to boil the panutsa in water.
Omb—–“Antonia, paki off na yung apoy after 10 -15 minutes. Baka masunog ay maglalasang sunog yung gulaman at sago. I looked at my watch, it was 9:05 am.
Antonia—–“10 15 minutes, oo mam”.
I left the kitchen. I arranged the white roses in the tiny glass vases and placed some in the crystal vase in the powder room. I placed the Malaysian mums in the brown vase for the center island. The roses were lanta na but after I arranged them, they became more alive.

I did last minute checking in the powder room. This wall sconce chandelier made in Spain is something I will not buy again in case I build a house in the future. It’s too sensitive and delicate. Nakakatakot hawakan. I am the only one who cleans this. If I let the maids, ay naku, sigurado durug durog ito bigla.

My decors are hard to clean kasi the maids will not bother to clean the creases and crevices, so I am the one doing this.

Even if the windows are always closed, dusts are able to penetrate. The tissues, hand towels, napkins get dirty too and must be replaced even if there are no parties

When I was in the dining room, I glanced at the clock and saw that it was already 10 am. I went back to the kitchen and found that the casserole of sago was still there still boiling.
Omb——“Antonia, sabi ko 10 -15 minutes patayin mo na”.
Antonia—-“Wala pa mam na ten minutes. Kakukulo lang nyan. Alas dyes pa ang time”.
She was reasoning out, I didn’t want to waste my time, mas lalo lang akong makukunsumi. I just left the kitchen.

The dahon ng saging came from the village’s open space.

Instead of an elaborate soup, I cooked corn soup. Ginayat na mais, with hipon swahe, dahon ng sili.

The waiter patiently cut the edges of the banana leaf to be used as tray for the fried tuna belly.

I bought this dress from a fancy boutique in New Delhi, India. I haven’t worn it even once and this would be the perfect occasion.
