1. Mag-ingat tayo sa mga phone scams. Yung kunwari nagkamali sya ng pasa ng load, ibalik mo sa kanya yung load. Mag-ingat rin sa mga credit card companies kunwari lang, who are asking for verification of personal data, yung mga empleyado na pinepeke ang resibo na ibinibigay sa kumpanay para makapagnakaw ng pera, mga nagnanakaw sa ATM, mga cashier at tindera na nang-uumit ng pera sa tindahan, parlor, opisina, convenience stores, etc.

2. Kaya pala ang bigat ng bag ko, dala-dala ko pa ketchup ni McDo.
3. He left one P50 bill, one P20 bill and 3 pieces of one pesos coins for the waiters at Buon Giorno in Cliff House, Tagaytay. I took the 3 peso coins. My husband said “O kukunin mo pa yung barya”.
Omb—-“For my alkansya”.
E——“Bibigyan kita ng isang toneladang coins, puno agad ang alkansya mo”.
Omb—-“It doesn’t work that way”.
While I do appreciate that my husband wants to give me his isang gallon na barya, I find happiness in collecting coins from change. I usually am able to fill up my alkansya in 45-60 days which churns around P800 to P1,200 each time. Okay na yun sa akin. I am happy that way. If he gives me isang tabo ng pineapple juice full of coins, it will take away the fun.
4. Construction of high rise buildings remains in the upswing.
Everywhere I look, the view is the same, I see skyscrapers.
5. And everywhere I go, I encounter heavy traffic.
My daughter said she doesn’t want to be 50 and still sitting in the traffic for three hours.
Our house is supposed to be 15 minutes away from our office on regular driving speed. Now, it’s a good three hours.
Some days I manage by sleeping through it, many days I get dizzy and ngawit.
Siguro the traffic congestion will worsen in the next two weeks as Christmas approaches. I was told that traffic in Cebu and Davao have worsened too.
Our infrastructures are not ready for progress. Our urban planning is short sighted.
