1. It’s been non stop rain ever since we arrived. Buti na lang walang baha.
2. June 8
Battery operated candles are getting more expensive. It costs more to buy new batteries than to buy the whole candle.
3. After attending mass at 6 pm, Edmund and I went to the wake of the dad of Cynthia Nakpil. Cynthia was in Edinburgh when her dad passed away. She re-routed her ticket and came home right away.
Sana tayong lahat umabot rin ng 87 or lampas pa, na malakas at masaya.
Cynthia’s mom is 83 or 84 and still plays golf few times a week in Wack-wack. Ang galing. Sana si Edmund din umabot ng 84 nag-go-golf pa or kung pwede hanggang 95 years old kasama pa sya sa golf tournaments. Kaya lang baka mainip na yung mga kasabay nya sa bagal na nyang pumalo.
4. From the church, we picked up Oyen so she could join us for dinner. She picked where, she wanted xiao long bao so we went to Podium.
The truffle flavor was very subtle. Siguro a few drops of truffle oil lang.

5. Dessert at Wildflower.
6. OMB reader Danica Partosa saw me while Edmund, Oyen and I were walking towards Wildflower to have coffee and dessert. She called me and introduced herself. She’s a good girl. She remembered what I told my guests during the dinner— that most likely I would not instantly remember their faces when we see each other outside, in the mall. Basta introduce yourself and please don’t be offended. Ulyanin na talaga ako. I introduced her to Edmund. Danica had been to our house when I hosted a birthday dinner, was that last year? Nalimutan ko na. I would probably host a belated dinner within this year, kahit super belated. Same format as before, I will set up a long table in the living room for maybe a dozen OMB readers. I dont’ know yet who to invite. Last time I ordered French food from my French chef friend. This time, Antonia na lang will cook tinola para simple at mura pa.
