The sun was blazing on June 17. I covered my head with a shawl while walking from Jeronimo’s Monastery to the bus parking. I actually couldn’t see my surroundings I was only following Edmund’s feet.
We saw a flea market just behind where the tourist buses were parked.
Ang sarap mag-ikot but it was really hot.
I needed to buy a hat so when I saw this Euro 5 hat I grabbed it right away. It was a big help in repelling sun’s glares. No need for me to cover my head with a heavy shawl.
A——“Made in China kaya ito? Ang mura five euro”.
E——“Baka”.
Aside from the hat, I was able to buy antique tea cups and saucers and some hand painted ceramics made in Portugal.
I just love these things.
