I hate packing. My luggage was half full when I left Manila and so was Edmund’s. Now we couldn’t fit all those heavy ceramic tiles and other souvenirs and I didn’t want to buy another maleta. We consolidated our dirty clothes and souvenirs in one maleta and asked Yen to bring it home.
We rented a big van to bring us to the airport.
We allotted too much time for claiming tax refund. The check-in counters were still closed. We were 4 hours early.
Check-in counters open two hours before the scheduled flight.
Passengers have no decent and convenient place to wait.
Finally, after two hours wait. Oyen was flying to Manila via Istanbul. Wala syang kasabay because the FPG group left yesterday.
This one’s for me, looks so good, pero walang kalasa-lasa.
Same with Oyen’s pasta, looks so good pero wala ding lasa.
My daughter’s taking Turkish Airlines back to Manila. She went to her gate while Edmund and I walked to our gate.
I have to look at the comfort room signs very carefully to make sure. The drawings confuse me most of the time.
It was so hot in this area. The flight seemed fully booked.
We’re taking Air Europa for the very first time.
It was a short one hour flight but there were parts that were bumpy.
My husband was already having second thoughts of coming here because of several reasons. One, the temperature was hot. Two, my sister reported that the hotel’s aircon was also hot. Three, several people had lost their wallets and watches in this city just recently. My husband was already thinking of skipping this leg and going to another country or city instead except that it would be a lot of hassle re-routing tickets.
Waiting for one shared luggage.
We took a cab to the hotel. My sister said it would cost around 20 Euro.
Ola!
