As in all goods things, our short holiday in Madrid must come to an end. Today was our last day in this city of our 400-year old relatives. One would think that with that amount of time we were under their rule, we would have inherited their progress or at least the best traits that made their country progressive.

We went out to buy pasalubong for our maids and drivers.

My husband didn’t want to buy cheap t-shirts for the house guard and drivers, Gusto pa nya yung quality at mahal. Little did we know niloloko pa la kami, ninanakaw yung mga gamit namin, naliligo sa pool, mina-manyak pa yung mga maids namin.

The two guys working at this souvenir shop are Filipino, Robin and Joseph.

They were teenagers when they came to Spain to be with their parents. They both speak very fluent Spanish.
