We looked at two white horses

We drove around Alfonso looking for the place where cows are brought once a week for sale or auction. The live cows are mostly from Batangas. While we were at a store selling farm supplies, I asked the store owner if they know of anyone selling a small horse. Kring kring. Yes! They gave me the phone number and I was able to get hold of the owner of the two horses.

When Edmund and I were about to meet with him so we could take a look at the horses, the sky turned dark and poured a gazillion gallons of water in the whole of Luzon so our personal meeting with the horses was canceled.

Last week the weather was nicer so we were able to go thru unpaved roads to visit the two horses. This was on August 26.

The female is pretty.

The male needs some body scrub and skin whitening. Hindi sya gwapo. Bagong ligo pa yan ha, dahil they hurriedly bathed the two horses before we arrived para siguro attractive. Mukhang nabigla siguro sa ligo kaya ganyan ang hitsura, mukhang nasipon.

Horses are like dogs. They need to be given tender loving care. The food daw is about P1,500 a month / for the two horses. Tapos every quarter merong injections.
Like dogs, horses can be temperamental, and medyo magugulatin din and nerbyoso. Delicado kung magulat, they can jump or kick. Edmund and Oyen are worried we wouldn’t know how to care for this animals. And we don’t have a big enough space. So I told the owner I would give it a thought. After a week I told him I’ll just get the female because it’s our first time to have this animal. Pag-aaralan muna namin how to handle horses. I also need to train a horse whisperer cum horse nannie. The owner didn’t want to sell only the female. Dapat daw pair.

Eh worried si Edmund masyadong palang alagain ang horse. Buti pa si Harry, nadun, kain lang ng kain ng grass, tahimik, no TLC required.

BUT…. I still want to have a horse, just one, and a small one. Our lot is not big enough for a big horse or two horses.
