The older I get - Oh My Buhay

I used to wear very short skirts. I have naturally thin legs so even if I wear short dresses in my opinion, it is not too noticeable.
I wore micro minis over business suits and it looked fine.
One thing I have never worn and will never will is a short shorts that shows a fourth of my tumbong. I don’t find that complementing at all.

Years ago I only saw women showing-off their buts in the US. Lately, I’ve been seeing Filipinas walk around in revealing shorts. I don’t find it flattering and sexy at all. I see a bit of Vegas in it. Before you go out, turn around and see how your behind looks like. Check if the folds are nangingitim. If it does then you might have to consider whitening it first before you venture out.

Ten years ago my skirt started getting longer. It started with functionality. Climbing up and down the Expedition exposed me to the eyes of the drivers. Our offices have stairs and again, I didn’t want my driver to follow me looking up at my underwear. As I get older I found no need to adjust the length of my dresses. Kung ano ang haba when I bought them, yun na, mahaba man or maikli.

The older I get the longer my skirt becomes. I am actually now thinking of wearing long dresses a la mumu.
