Instead of me preparing food for our traditional Christmas Eve noche buena, we just had dinner at Red Lobster. Edmund did his best to fight his jetlag and wake up at 12 midnight only to find no food had been set up on the table just like what we always had. We also didn’t have our yearly opening of gifts although there were some wrapped gifts under our tiny Christmas tree.
For our New Year’s celebration, we went to P.F. Chang’s on the ground floor of Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas Boulevard. We didn’t have a reservation but lucky we got a nice table after a 10-minute wait.
P.F. Chang prepared a set menu for this evening $71.50 plus tax plus service change plus extra tip. My sister in law Dimple gifted us with a $100 gift card from P.F. Chang’s so there was a $100 credit / deduction from our total bill.
This would be Edmund and I’s 3rd year of spending the New Year in Vegas and second time having New Year’s Eve dinner at P.F. Chang’s, and our kids’ second time of spending new year in Vegas.
