Windsor Castle - Oh My Buhay

The Windsor Castle is reportedly the oldest and the biggest occupied castle in Europe. It is worth visiting when you’re in UK.
The castle opens its doors to the public at 10 am. Thousands of tourists come everyday and the wait could sometimes reach a mile long according to Robert. Lucky for us, we’re not considered a big group so we don’t have to line up behind the throngs of Chinese tourists. By 9 am we are already at the castle’s gate waiting for it to open. Glad we are early otherwise it will also be a long wait.

Prince Harry and his wife Meghan are reportedly living somewhere here. I overheard one of the guards telling a tourist that this is the Queen’s favorite royal weekend residence.

The tour we initially paid online did not include entrance tickets to the Castle. We paid an extra £22 per person for the opportunity to step into the palace grounds and have a glimpse of the royal home since the 11th century.

While waiting for the opening..

This large portrait of the Queen and her grandchildren greets visitors at the ticket center. Nagblend daw ako sa litrato, para daw akong kasama talaga, yaya. I am the royal nAnnie.

Nasisilaw sa araw. Tart look here.

Have I told you I was named after Queen Anne? Ang kulit ko. Must be nice to actually live in a castle, surrounded with thousands of beautiful flowers.
