Visit to my parents' grave - Oh My Buhay

Visit to my parents’ grave

June 14, 2019

About an hour away from Carmel is where my parents are buried.
A—-“Tart, di ba dun ang daan natin sa 680?”
E—–“Daan tayo sa pantyon?”
A—–“Oo sana”.
We arrived at the cemetery around 12 noon and my husband spotted the dozens of Filipinos standing near the mortuary.
Pilipino burial

E—–“Ang daming tao. May patay, mga Pilipino”.
A—–‘May libing”.
E—–“Pilipino yan, ang dami”.
We couldn’t enter because their vehicles were blocking our way.
We managed to park at the curb and just walked to my parent’s grave.
Nasalubong namin isang pari na Pilipino.

E—-“Father, sino’ng namatay?”
Pari—–“Marami”.
E—–‘Hah? Ilan?”
Pari—-“Basta marami”.
E—–“Mass murder? Mass burial?”

Edmund, visit to the cemetery
