After our Father’s Day lunch at Black Angus Steakhouse, we went to the Tamayo Family Vineyards which was only a short 10 minute drive from the restaurant. Edmund actually wanted to go on a cherry picking adventure but it was too hot.
This section is their family residence.
An impressive great room with high ceilings greets visitors. We all said wow.
The owners still live here that’s why personal touches adorn the whole estate.
This is the formal dining room. I think this can also be rented in for an intimate sit-down dinner.
Can’t go iin there, that’s private.
It was a hot day when we went. An ice cold drinking water was a welcome relief.
Wine tasting fee was 15 per person.
Italian corinthian columns line up the hallway on both sides of the estate.
The area can be rented in for $10,000 minimum for several hours use, excluding the private quarters.
The sprawling Italian mansion is imressive from every angle.
Edmund takes pictures of the vineyards and the garden.
Thirty five acres are planted with grapes which they supply to the wineries in Napa Valley. There are plenty more acreages for future expansion.
The residence’s side garden
The $15 fee allowed us to tour the vineyard on our own but it was so hot.
I dont drink wine so my husband has to drink mine kasi sayang ang bayad ko $15.
We were led into Sara and Jeff’s office on the left wing of the mansion.
One of these bookshelves is a secret door.
The secret door opens to an airconditioned cellar with this incredible private wine collection.
I will copy this and frame our love story too. I noticed the “6 Houses”, this vineyard is one, and their guy mentioned they also have a house or vineyard in Napa Valley. I want to see the other 5 houses. Must be equally gorgeous.
