Books are still in fashion in New England. I told my sister “kung dito tayo nakatira tatalino tayo”. We’re not bookworms but going inside the Harvard Book Store made us want to read and read. So that’s what we did, we spent almost an hour inside the book store reading, the titles.
This bookstore opened in 1932.
I bought a postcard for Edmund but I wasn’t able to mail it. I’ll just hand it over to hiim when I get home.
I flipped thru some books and was able to read like ten pages of one particular book. I saw myself in the character. I decided not to buy it because the fonts were so small. It would just strain my eyes.
Aside from new and used books, the bookstore also sell Harvard University gifts and souvenirs. I bought this refrigerator magnet. I also bought a souvenir shirt, one big notebook, one tiny notebook, one children’s book.
