My mom in law liked the miswa served at Oyen’s Ting Hun ceremony held here at our residence. It was made by the cook of the Yao family.
A few day’s ago, Oyen asked for the cook’s favor to prepare one tray of miswa for her lola’s birthday.
I volunteered to swing by my mom in law’s house to drop-off the big tray of Chinese noodles.
I didn’t have any intention to stay. I just wanted to drop off the food, greet her, then go. I was going to Morong, Rizal and it could be an hour ride and it was overcast.
I ended up staying for two full hours because she was telling stories of the past and some about the present. I felt she needed someone to listen to her kwento so I stayed.
