The babies with pulmonary diseases, leukemia, meningitis, cancer, etc. currently undergoing treatments at the ward section of the National Children’s Hospital in Quezon City need special milk. Most of them cannot eat solids and their bodies need an extra boost of immunity.
The doctors recommend Pediasure or IgCo.
This small box is P950 according to the nurse.
Oyen was able to donate 45 – 50 boxes of Lactum to the Concordia orphanage with the help and generosity of friends. Some donated boxes of Lactum while the others sent money. I will publish the updated list of the kind-hearted souls here.
There is still some cash left from Oyen’s fund raising (est. P10,000 – P12,000) which we will use to buy Pediasure and IgCo. milk for the babies at NCH. The next round of milk donations shall go to the babies who are seriously ill and confined at the National Children’s Hospital ward.
