I have nothing against pet shops. Some of our dogs came from pet shops. Our golden brown Shitzu named Hershey (RIP) I bought for P14,000 from a pet shop on the 4th floor of Robinsons Galleria. Sarado na yan matagal na. Ngayon ko lang na-realize ang mahal pala ng bili ko considering that was more than 20 years ago. I gave Nyke the puppy for his birthday. When I picked him up that afternoon from Xavier School, I placed the puppy in a small dog carrier so it wouldn’t pee in my car. Nyke must be 7 years old then.
I hate going to pet shops. Naaawa ako sa mga dogs inside cages. Look at this one. Awww, kawawa. If I buy this out of compassion, the more the pet shop owner will be encouraged.
