Online home tours are extremely popular nowadays. Celebrities welcome strangers from around the world into their homes thru their vlogs. Seeing other people’s homes online has become ordinary. Even non-celebrities are happy and proud to share photos and videos showing their houses.
For a change, aside from our kitchen, I’d like to show you this portion of our house. This is the hallway leading to the primary bedroom. The super arte railings were copied from the Paris residence of Napoleon Bonaparte.

While staying in the guest room for a few days, I noticed that the crystal chandelier was dusty so I climbed on top of the table and cleaned it. The guest room needs renovation and so is the rest of our house.

I am glad we live in a subdivision with several parks and streets lined with big old trees. We really need these trees because this place is smack in the center of the metropolis. EDSA is just outside the gate and the air pollution is terrible.
Oct 6, 10:54 am I try to eat salad at least once a week. I like rice, meat, and sweets so it’s really hard to eat healthily.

Salad with fresh mangoes doesn’t need a drizzle of dressing. The juice from the mangoes give it just the right dressing and sweetness.
I don’t want to throw or give-away our old books, textbooks, encyclopedia. Even if they are just gathering dusts, I want to still see them around here.
My last bottle of black truffle sauce. I ordered 6 bottles online in preparation for the holidays.
I bet none of the presidential aspirants would order the utility companies to clean up the cables and wires dangling on our faces.
Makalat tingnan, there must be a better way.
We’re slow in sorting stuff– to keep, donate, throw away.
We have boxes and boxes full of stuff— home decors, travel souvenirs, clothes, shoes, bags, etc. We should stop participating in the so-called fast fashion. We keep buying clothes we don’t get to wear, or we only get to wear once or twice, tapos ayaw na natin. Shoes we don’t even get to remove from the boxes. I still have several pairs I bought last Christmas, ngayon malapit na naman ang pasko hindi ko pa naisuot. Eh wala naman ako pupuntahan. And how many handbags do we need? We always use the same bags, those that can carry our abubots, pwede kahit ipatung-patong sa public toilets, kahit magasgas, madumihan. Mahilig tayo bumili ng gamit that we just keep inside their boxes and inside our cabinets. Sayang lang. I have a Gucci tote bag, pinalabhan ko, hayun, bumaho for some reason. Nakakahinayang😠.

Dear husband bought fresh tarragon leaves.
Dear daughter bought me a cup of mocha frap from Starbucks and a croissant from Apero cafe. She introduced me to mocha frap when she was still living in Manhattan. Nakaka addict I had to control myself.

The first thing I did after my quarantine and negative tests was to light candles for the same personal intentions— good health and safety for each one of us, guidance in everything and of course, I never ever forget to express my thanks daily.

This bag is supposed to be nice but it’s irritating everytime it drops from my shoulder. And the flap keeps opening. it’s either the lock is loose or the construction is flawed. Malapit na ito mai-retire.
Long time ago, I go back to the house because I forgot my wallet, or my lipstick, or my handkerchief. Then came the celphone. Uuwi or will send the driver back home to get my celphone. Then came the face mask and the face shield. Sometimes nasa kotse na ako, babalik pa tatlong beses. Ay, naiwan ko sunglasses ko, ay nasaan ba celphone ko. Teka, wala pala akong face mask. Hay, naiwan ko face shield nasa kitchen counter. It’s tiring.
