Before going home, I stopped by the village restaurant.
I ordered Korean fried chicken. While waiting, I sat down at one of the tables. Since the whole area was not large, I could hear every conversation other diners have most especially if they are loud.
There were two good-looking ladies having merienda. One was very loud oblivious to the fact that her voice radiated through the clubhouse’s roof. She was very animated, not as much as her friend. What disappointed me was her favorite expression putang ina. I could tell by the way this phrase rolled in and out of her mouth that she truly enjoys the sound of it and feels empowered every time she repeats it every chance she gets. Hindi bagay sa kanya especially she looks like in her late 30s or esrly 40s. If I were her mother I would yell at her to stop.
