Former president Fidel V. Ramos or FVR as he is fondly called, doesn’t forget me. He sends me books, sometimes photo copies of his literature, speeches, and updates on his insights about current events.
Tonight, I came home at 8 pm and found a package from him containing his book Giving Back: Service and Legacy and a 2016 calendar.

At 87, FVR still plays good golf.
