We drove for another 4 hours from Yosemite National Park to reach Fresno where we would spend the night.
I was asleep most of the bus ride due to the relaxing effect of a tiny slice of Bonamine tablet.
I caught a glimpse of some of the nice quaint little towns along the way.
We reached Fresno at around 8 pm. We were brought to a Chinese restaurant called King Buffet located at the Manchester Center, E. Shields Street. The cost of the dinner was $14 per person and it was not included in the tour package.
This restaurant most likely has a tie-up with tour operators because aside from us, there were other tour groups that came here.
I don’t know how the restaurant owners control the cash coming in. There were no receipts given. After we paid cash, we were given this piece of paper indicating the number of people. No receipts. Better to pay with your credit card next time so no cash is lost for the restaurant owners.
1 for Victor, 3 for Aileen, Kimberly and I
I liked Mongolian barbecue style only because among all the dishes laid out on the buffet table, this the one that’s cooked before my eyes. And I get to eat them hot and freeshly cooked.
I ate half of this long Mackerel. It tasted fresh and with smokey flavor like tinapa. I was looking for patis and kalamansi but they didn’t have. They had lemon pero the taste is different from kalamansi.
Aside from the usual Chinese dishes, King buffet has a section for Japanese sushi.

Parang naligaw yung pizza. Napansin nyo ba nowadays Filipinos no longer call it PICHA PIE? We now simply call it PICHA.
Plenty of choices but not much to eat. Hindi ko type. I only liked the mackerel fish and the freshly cooked mongolian.
I settled for 3 scoops of ice cream, and got another 4 scoops, then 3 more.
I overindulged myself with 10 scoops of ice cream. Sabi kasi “treat yourself”. Yummy!
