Edmund did very well in his two qualifying matches for another possible GOLF club championship. On the first day, he beat someone who is a great player and has won several championships too. The guy probably lost his focus while playing against Edmund. He shot a 24 over while Edmund did one over.
Yesterday, up to the 14th hole, Edmund’s score was even par. He ended with a one over par. Unfortunately, with a heavy heart, he had to withdraw from the tournament to give way to the others. He’s traveling this weekend, and although he would only be away for two days, tournaments are held on weekends and he would miss the next game. Some of the guys seriously eyeing the championship were more than relieved.
