When my daughter informed Edmund and I that we were going to have a family dinner at a restaurant that sounded to me as piskompanget I asked her why are we going to eat there eh pangit pala?
She said it had good reviews and is one of the top restaurants in the city.
She apparently booked a table at Fiskekompaniet Seafood Restaurant as early as two months ago. It’s supposed to be an advanced birthday dinner for me. Matagal pa ang birthday ko but my daughter said I have to imagine that it’s already my birthday.
Yen’s reservation was at 6 pm. They told us there’s a group of 60 people coming and would be occupying the tables facing the waterfront.
My daughter didn’t want to agree that they sit us near the entrance. When she mentioned to the receptionist that she booked in January they extended us the courtesy.
See it was much better here. We could see the water.
Panget nga kaya lang with an ef, Fanget.
Never mind kung fanget, the view naman is great.
All seafood, no beef, chicken or pork, only lamb.
Edmund ordered a glass of white wine.
We ordered seafood platter and it came with lobster tails.
Included in the seafood platter were shrimps, Alaskan king crab, mussels, oysters and lobster.
Edmund and Oyen gave their soups a 10/10. Me, 9.5/10. Kuripot daw ako magbigay ng score.
The seafood platter came with two pieces of oysters but we ordered extra 6. I ate four. Edmund ate the two pieces.
Waiter explains to Edmund what’s on his plate.
My fish was good too but my husband wanted to share his fish with me because he claimed it tasted more delicious.
Dessert agad. Multiply the numbers by 7 and that would be the approximate peso equivalent.
When the bill came, my daughter said she didn’t want to convert it into pesos kasi nga mahal. When I computed the amount in pesos, it was like, whooooa. Edmund charged it to his credit card without realizing how much he was paying. Birthday dinner ko daw yun. O sya sige na nga. Thank you so much anak. Thank you tart. I enjoyed our dinner. I liked the restaurant a lot. I think one of the best we’ve been to.
