Aeon Mall, Airport, Home

After being brought to more shopping malls than tourist spots, my daughter said that the tour should have been called Shopping tour instead of Scenic Japan.

From Nakamise Shopping Street (we couldn’t shop because of time constraints), our last stop was at the Aeon Mall in Narita. The choice of place to kill time prior to going to the airport is obvious. The airport is 10 minutes away.

The bus parked first. I would have preferred that they drop us off at the nearest entrance to the mall rather than parking a bit far. It’s raining remember? And very cold.

Miko brought us to the Aeon Mall fast food area on the second floor. There are also some restaurants on the ground floor.
Today’s lunch is on us and not included in the tour package

I was lucky to get this secluded section at the far end of the fast food area. Ang ingay-ingay doon at ang gulu-gulo. Edmund wants to look for a regular restaurant but I didn’t want to leave Oyen and Nyke here. They have found something that they like.

I think all the tour groups are brought here prior to their departure

After checking in, upo muna kami kasi parang nahingal ako, from taking off layers of clothing.
Oyen is displaying her new bag- YSL, yung Y daw ay yee. Nagsisi pa yan after she swiped her card kasi mahal yung bag. Natural lang yun, it happens to me all the time. Buyer’s remorse.

My son finally found the green tea Kitkat he’s been looking for ever since we arrived in Japan.

When Edmund and I were in the lounge, I became nostalgic, seating on the same spot. Naalala ko na, we took Delta pala one time to San Francisco and this is the same spot we chose.

  1. Hi Annie! felt the same way with organized tours… sa venice dadalhin ka sa glass factory (bought a piece for souvenir), amsterdam sa diamond factory, malaysia sa batik factory. can’t remember kung san kami dinala when we went to hongkong and singapore. even sa local, when we went to Palawan, the guy who picked us up at the airport e dinaan muna kami sa store ng south sea pearl daw, we bought a few sets as support to local economy, but really not sure kung south sea nga un di naman ako marunong.

  2. Wow! Please tell Julienne – Very pretty her denim YSL bag and super bagay sa kanya!
Your bag? Bagay na bagay sa iyo and for your travels.
Now, did you enjoy your Japan tour? Kasi you said NOT Scenic Japan. LoL!
